India, Sept. 21 -- Biocon's wholly owned subsidiary Biocon Biologics has received a positive recommendation from the European Medicines Agency's (EMA) Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) for its Pertuzumab biosimilar.
The CHMP has recommended granting marketing authorisation for the Pertuzumab 420 mg concentrate solution for infusion, to be marketed under the brand name Pebrilzo.
The biosimilar is indicated for the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer across multiple stages of the disease, according to the company.
