India, July 9 -- Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd. (BCML) continued its nationwide 'Bioyug On Wheels' awareness campaign in Rajkot, Gujarat, promoting compostable, sugarcane-based PLA (polylactic acid) bioplastics as sustainable alternatives to conventional plastics.
Held at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Art Gallery grounds, the initiative featured live demonstrations, interactive exhibits, and product displays showcasing the applications of bio-based compostable plastics in everyday use. The campaign highlighted the role of PLA bioplastics in supporting a circular economy and reducing plastic waste.
