India, July 14 -- Avio Smart Market Stack Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tripura to establish a state-of-the-art freeze-drying facility for fruits and vegetables, aimed at strengthening the state's agro-processing infrastructure and boosting the horticulture sector.
The proposed project, titled "A Freeze-Drying Initiative on Fruits and Vegetables for Tripura," is expected to generate around 500 direct and 800 indirect employment opportunities. The facility will use advanced freeze-drying technology to enhance the shelf life, quality, and marketability of locally grown produce, while reducing post-harvest losses.
