India, July 6 -- India's automobile retail sales rose 21.83% year-on-year to 25,57,234 units in June, compared with 20,98,996 units in the same month last year, according to data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA).
Passenger vehicle (PV) retail sales recorded a strong performance, increasing 28.63% YoY to 4,10,853 units from 3,19,412 units in June 2025. While the industry remains cautiously optimistic about demand in the coming months, dealers expect a favourable monsoon to help support rural sentiment and sustain sales momentum.
