India, April 1 -- Ashok Leyland reported a 5% year-on-year increase in total sales at 25,381 units in March 2026, compared to 24,060 units in the same month last year.

Domestic sales also grew 5% to 23,743 units, up from 22,510 units in March 2025, indicating stable demand in the local market.

Sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles (MHCV) in the domestic segment stood at 16,238 units, registering a modest 1% growth over 16,082 units in the year-ago period.
