India, Nov. 25 -- Antara Senior Care, part of the $7-billion Max Group, has expanded its presence in Bengaluru with the opening of a new 80-bed care home in Whitefield, strengthening its footprint in Karnataka to around 163 beds across two locations and 500 beds nationwide.
Located in one of Bengaluru's major IT and residential hubs, the new facility offers assisted living and transition care services supported by geriatric-trained teams and infrastructure designed to promote independence and reduce loneliness among seniors. The launch comes amid rising demand for specialised senior care in the city, driven by an ageing population, higher life expectancy, and increasing instances of seniors living alone as children relocate abroad.
