India, Sept. 3 -- Aluminium prices edged lower by 90 paise to Rs 254.60 per kg in Wednesday's futures trade as traders pared positions amid sluggish demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for September delivery dropped 0.35% to Rs 254.60 per kg in a turnover of 4,019 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to muted demand from consuming industries, which weighed on market sentiment.
