India, July 27 -- Aluminium futures declined 0.47% to Rs 341.85 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Monday as traders reduced their positions amid weak demand in the spot market.

The August delivery contract fell by Rs 1.60 in 191 lots, reflecting subdued buying interest.

Market analysts attributed the decline to lower demand from consuming industries, prompting participants to trim their positions in the futures market.
