India, May 25 -- Aluminium futures traded higher on Monday, supported by firm global cues and improved sentiment across base metal markets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), the most-active May contract gained Rs 1.15, or 0.3 per cent, to trade at Rs 387.10 per kilogram, with a turnover of 1,712 lots.

The June delivery contract also moved higher, rising by 70 paise, or 0.18 per cent, to Rs 384.25 per kilogram in a turnover of 3,140 lots.
