India, March 5 -- Aluminium prices rose about 1.47% to Rs 338.50 per kg in futures trade on Thursday as traders built fresh positions following a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, aluminium for April delivery climbed Rs 4.90, or 1.47%, to Rs 338.50 per kg in 194 lots.
Analysts said fresh buying by traders, supported by demand from consuming industries, helped lift aluminium prices in the futures market.
