India, May 12 -- Aluminium futures traded higher on Tuesday as traders created fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market and steady demand from consuming industries.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), aluminium contracts for June delivery gained 65 paise, or 0.17%, to Rs 376.50 per kg in 197 lots.
Market analysts said renewed buying interest and firm industrial demand supported the rise in aluminium prices in the futures market.
