India, April 22 -- Aluminium prices on Wednesday edged higher by about 0.82% to Rs 368.30 per kg in futures trade, supported by fresh positions taken by speculators amid firm trends in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for April 30 delivery rose by Rs 3 to Rs 368.30 per kg, with trading activity seen in 1,992 lots.

According to analysts, the uptick was driven by renewed buying interest from traders, backed by steady demand from key consuming industries.
