India, July 2 -- Aluminium prices slipped marginally in futures trade on Thursday as traders reduced their positions amid weak demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for July delivery declined by Rs 1.40, or 0.43%, to Rs 327.80 per kg, with a business turnover of 231 lots.
According to analysts, easing demand from consuming industries prompted participants to trim their positions, weighing on aluminium prices.
