India, April 7 -- Aluminium prices rose 0.69% to Rs 355.75 per kg in futures trade on Tuesday, supported by fresh position building by speculators amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for May delivery gained Rs 2.45 to trade at Rs 355.75 per kg across 71 lots.

Market analysts attributed the rise to renewed buying interest and steady demand from consuming industries, which supported prices in the futures segment.
