India, Jan. 12 -- Aluminium futures moved higher on Monday, supported by fresh buying by speculators amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for February delivery rose by 80 paise, or 0.25 per cent, to Rs 322.45 per kg, with a business turnover of 2,448 lots.
Analysts said aluminium prices were lifted by fresh positions built by traders, driven by steady demand from consuming industries in the spot market.
