India, Dec. 2 -- Aluminium futures rose on Tuesday, gaining 20 paise to Rs 277.25 per kg, as traders built fresh positions supported by a firm trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), January delivery contracts increased 0.07% to Rs 277.25 per kg, with a business turnover of 259 lots.

Analysts said renewed buying interest and demand from consuming industries boosted aluminium prices in futures trade.
