India, May 22 -- Aluminium futures traded marginally higher on Friday, rising 0.3 per cent to Rs 384.80 per kg as traders increased fresh positions amid positive sentiment in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for June delivery gained Rs 1.15 to trade at Rs 384.80 per kg in 216 lots.

Market analysts attributed the uptick in prices to renewed buying by participants and steady demand from consuming industries, which supported sentiment in the futures market.
