India, July 17 -- Aluminium futures fell by Rs. 2 to Rs. 342.30 per kg on Friday as traders reduced their positions amid weak demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), July aluminium contracts traded 0.58% lower at Rs. 342.30 per kg, with a trading volume of 632 lots.
According to market analysts, easing demand from key consuming industries prompted participants to cut positions, putting downward pressure on aluminium prices.
