India, March 23 -- Aluminium prices slipped Rs 2.80 to Rs 327.80 per kg in futures trade on Monday, as traders reduced their positions amid a subdued trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for April delivery declined by Rs 2.80, or 0.85 per cent, to Rs 327.80 per kg across 264 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall to reduced demand from key consuming industries, which led participants to cut down their positions, keeping prices under pressure.
