India, July 4 -- Aluminium prices fell by 45 paise to ?248.70 per kilogram on Friday in the futures market, as traders reduced their positions amid a sluggish trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium for July delivery slipped by 0.18% to ?248.70 per kg in 4,122 lots. According to analysts, the decline in prices was primarily driven by lower demand from key consuming industries, prompting participants to cut their holdings.
