India, March 6 -- Aluminium prices rose 0.28 per cent to Rs 335.10 per kg in futures trade on Friday as speculators created fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for April delivery gained 95 paise, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 335.10 per kg, with a business turnover of 28 lots.

Analysts said renewed buying by traders, supported by steady demand from consuming industries, helped lift aluminium prices in the futures market.
