India, March 2 -- Aluminium futures rose nearly 1.48 per cent to Rs 321.95 per kg on Monday as traders created fresh positions, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for April delivery gained Rs 4.70, or 1.48 per cent, to Rs 321.95 per kg, with a business turnover of 141 lots.
Analysts said renewed buying by participants, supported by demand from consuming industries, lifted aluminium prices in the futures market.
