India, Sept. 2 -- Aluminium prices rose 85 paise to Rs 255.70 per kilogram in futures trade on Tuesday as traders built fresh positions amid a firm trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, October delivery contracts advanced 0.33% to Rs 255.70 per kg, with a turnover of 4,017 lots.
Analysts said renewed buying by participants, supported by demand from consuming industries, lifted aluminium futures.
