India, Aug. 26 -- Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has secured a Rs 4,700 crore transmission project in Maharashtra aimed at facilitating the evacuation of up to 4,500 MW of renewable energy and power generated from storage projects.

The project, titled "Network Expansion Scheme in Western Region to Cater to Pumped Storage Potential near Satara (up to 4,500 MW) – Part A," was awarded to AESL through the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process.

The transmission network will facilitate the transfer of renewable power generated in Karnataka to key electricity demand centres in Maharashtra. The project further strengthens AESL's presence in India's power transmission infrastructure and supports the integration of renewable ener...
