India, Oct. 22 -- Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD) has commenced commercial operations at its malt distillery in Rangapur, Telangana, marking a significant step towards expanding its domestic manufacturing capabilities and strengthening supply chain integration.
The greenfield facility has an approved manufacturing capacity of approximately 4.4 million bulk litres (BL) per annum. It will enable the company to produce malt spirit in-house, enhancing quality control, ensuring a consistent supply of key raw materials and reducing exposure to market fluctuations.
