Dhaka, Aug. 8 -- I began as a part time university teacher in 2012 after I returned from Canada. I had no idea what I would be able to do when I returned after 5 years. Luckily I was offered a job in BDnews 24 as an Executive Editor, an outfit where I used to write regularly. It was entirely due to the generosity of my friend and colleague, Towfiq Imroze Khalidi, the Editor. I rejoined mainstream media full time after a decade.
