Pakistan, Aug. 12 -- A 4.4 magnitude earthquake jolted Zhob and surrounding areas of Balochistan on Wednesday, causing fear among local residents.
According to the seismological centre, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 18 kilometres beneath the surface.

The earthquake's epicentre was located approximately 75 kilometres northeast of Zhob, according to the seismic monitoring authorities.
Tremors were felt in several areas around Zhob, prompting residents to leave their homes as a precaution. Some residents were reportedly seen reciting the Kalma after feeling the shaking.
