Pakistan, Jan. 12 -- President Asif Ali Zardari will embark on a four-day official visit to Bahrain from January 13-16. He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and explore cooperation opportunities.

During the visit, President Zardari will meet Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who also serves as prime minister. Discussions will focus on bilateral, regional, and international issues of mutual interest.

The Foreign Office stated that the visit seeks to reinforce Pakistan's longstanding partnership with Bahrain. It will also explore collaboration in trade, economic partnership, defence, security, and people-to-people ties.
