Pakistan, Aug. 14 -- President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif discussed national security, regional developments and counterterrorism efforts. The meeting took place at the President House on Friday.

The leaders reviewed domestic and foreign affairs alongside the evolving regional situation. They also discussed ongoing operations against terrorism and related security challenges.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Senator Sherry Rehman attended the meeting. Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan was also present.
