Pakistan, April 23 -- Indian actor Yami Gautam reportedly spent four months studying the Holy Quran as part of her preparation for her role in the upcoming legal drama Haq, according to the film's director.

Director Suparn Verma shared in an interview with BBC Asian Network that the production team invested extensive time in research, including a deep study of Islamic law, to ensure authenticity in the storytelling. He said the team worked for nearly a year and a half to understand legal and cultural contexts relevant to the story.
