Pakistan, Aug. 28 -- The leaders of China, India and Russia will gather in Bishkek for a major SCO summit. The September 1 meeting will bring together 10 member states representing about 3.4 billion people. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian are also expected to attend.

The summit will mark the 25th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. Leaders are expected to discuss regional conflicts, security concerns and economic cooperation across Eurasia. The gathering comes as major Asian powers seek closer ties amid changing global conditions.
