Pakistan, Aug. 3 -- Archaeologists have uncovered human remains at former village sites in western Ukraine linked to World War II-era massacres. The exhumations aim to identify victims and address a long-running historical dispute between Ukraine and Poland.

Joint Polish-Ukrainian teams recovered the remains of more than 50 people during excavations near the Polish border. Experts are conducting forensic examinations to determine identities, ages, and causes of death.
