Pakistan, Nov. 29 -- Lahore hosted a four-day International Boxing Championship, where Pakistan's Muhammad Waseem successfully defended his WBA Gold Bantamweight title. The finale, "Fight for Glory," drew huge crowds, including Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. The event featured 44 boxers from 15 countries competing across 21 bouts.
On the final day, Waseem faced Thai boxer Jakrawat in a 12-round battle, emerging victorious. After winning, Waseem thanked fans, the Punjab government, and the Pakistan Army for their support and security. The championship ensured top-level safety for all international participants.
