Pakistan, July 27 -- Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has filed a lawsuit against Amazon, accusing the company of encouraging contracted employees to break their employment agreements. The legal dispute centers on the recent hiring of longtime HBO Max marketing executive Pia Barlow, with WBD claiming Amazon deliberately targeted its staff instead of building its own marketing team. The lawsuit was filed on July 21 in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The complaint includes claims of intentional interference with contractual relations, breach of contract, and unfair competition.
