Pakistan, May 19 -- In an era of eroding public trust in law enforcement, administrative reforms centred on transparency and citizen engagement have become indispensable instruments of democratic governance. Punjab's Khuli Kachehri initiative represents one such structural intervention - a deliberate effort to dismantle the barriers separating citizens from the institutions mandated to serve them. Launched under the public relief vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and spearheaded by Deputy Inspector General (Ops) Faisal Kamran, the program operationalises participatory policing through direct, unmediated access to senior officers.
