Pakistan, Aug. 24 -- US woman Rosanna Marina travelled to Khewra in Jhelum to marry Pakistani man Adil Shahzad after their three-year social media friendship turned into love. The American national met Adil through Facebook, where they initially developed a friendship. Over time, their regular communication brought them closer and eventually led to a relationship. Their cross-border romance later culminated in marriage in Pakistan.

Marina travelled to Pakistan willingly to be with Adil and confirmed her consent before a court. She stated that she came to the country by her own choice and agreed to the marriage voluntarily.
