Pakistan, July 25 -- The United States (US) has announced a new global visa restriction policy targeting foreign nationals involved in cybercrime and cyber enabled criminal activities, expanding efforts to combat online fraud and digital scams that affect American citizens.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio unveiled the policy, saying it supports the Trump administration's broader strategy to counter cyber-enabled crime, including online investment scams, sextortion and other fraudulent schemes. Under the new measures, individuals found responsible for or complicit in such crimes, along with their immediate family members, could be denied entry into the United States.
