The United States has revoked the sanctions waiver for Iran's Chabahar Port, a strategic project India has been developing as a vital trade link to Afghanistan and Central Asia. The waiver, originally granted in 2018 under the Iran Freedom and Counter-Proliferation Act (IFCA) to support Afghanistan's reconstruction, will officially end on September 29.
