Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- The United States (US) has revoked the visa of Brazilian ambassador as diplomatic tensions between the two countries continue to rise.
A US State Department official said the decision could be reversed if Brazil approves President Donald Trump's nominee for US ambassador to Brasilia. However, the official spoke on condition of anonymity.

Trump nominated Florida Republican Daniel Perez as ambassador to Brazil in early June. Although the US Senate must still confirm the nomination, Brazil must also grant diplomatic approval before he can take up the post.
