Pakistan, Aug. 20 -- The US military has established a covert shipping corridor through the Strait of Hormuz to facilitate daily oil shipments, according to Axios. The operation reportedly aims to keep global energy supplies moving despite ongoing regional tensions.
Two US officials told Axios that 15 to 20 oil tankers enter or leave the strait each night through a southern channel. The officials said the shipments currently carry around 10 million barrels of oil daily.
