Pakistan, Nov. 8 -- The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) has recognized Pakistan's leading role in the global fight against narcotics, commending the country's strong enforcement record and consistent efforts to combat drug trafficking and organized crime.

Speaking in Islamabad, UNODC Representative Troels Vester praised the performance of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), noting that its major achievements highlight Pakistan's frontline position in tackling the regional drug menace.
