Pakistan, May 1 -- The Representative of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Pakistan, Fuad Pashayev visited the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi.

Prof Dr Muhammad Raza Shah, Director of ICCBS, University of Karachi, and UNESCO Chair holder, warmly welcomed the UNESCO official to the center, said a spokesperson on Thursday.

During the meeting, Pashayev and the ICCBS Director discussed matters related to the UNESCO Chair on Medicinal and Bio-Organic Natural Product Chemistry at ICCBS.

He expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to visit the institution and lauded the state-of-the-art research facilities available at the center.
