The attack caused environmental damage and raised concerns among residents over worsening pollution. It marks the latest escalation in strikes targeting Russian energy infrastructure.

The operation was confirmed by Ukraine's drone forces commander and represents the fourth attack on Tuapse since mid-April. The port area, which includes oil facilities, has been repeatedly targeted in recent weeks. Previous strikes have disrupted refinery operations and fuel processing.
