Pakistan, Sept. 20 -- Ukraine fired more than 1,000 drones toward Russia overnight, including hundreds aimed at Moscow. Russia's Defence Ministry said its forces intercepted 1,110 drones across several regions, Crimea and the Black Sea. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said air defences destroyed 450 drones approaching the capital.

Sobyanin described the assault as the largest drone attack on Moscow so far. Several drones reached the Moscow Oil Refinery, while another struck a residential building, according to Russian officials. The wider Moscow region reported two deaths and 20 injuries after the attacks.
