Pakistan, Aug. 10 -- The United Kingdom is experiencing its fifth heatwave of the year as temperatures remain above 30degC. Media reports said the country has recorded 35 days above 30degC in 2026. This figure has already exceeded the previous record from 1995. Britain recorded 34 days above 30degC during that year. The latest heatwave has therefore raised concerns about increasingly prolonged hot weather.
