Pakistan, Aug. 9 -- Typhoon Dolphin is expected to reach China's eastern coast late Sunday, bringing powerful winds and torrential rain that could trigger widespread flooding and landslides. The storm has already crossed Japan's southern Okinawa prefecture, injuring six people and disrupting electricity supplies to more than 50,000 buildings. Chinese authorities have responded by moving offshore workers to safety and ordering vessels back to ports. Officials have also increased inspections around reservoirs, mountain streams, construction sites and tourist areas.
