Pakistan, May 18 -- Two police officials lost their lives on Monday after a speeding dumper truck rammed into a parked police van on the M9 Motorway near Karachi, officials confirmed.

The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Gadap City police station, where a police mobile was stationed on the roadside for routine patrolling and snap checking. According to police, the dumper was travelling from Hyderabad to Karachi when it crashed into the parked vehicle with significant force.
