Pakistan, Sept. 4 -- Two people have been rescued alive from a hydropower tunnel in Nepal after nine days. The rescue followed devastating floods that caused widespread damage and loss of life. Officials believe more people could still be alive inside the tunnel.

Rescue teams have continued operations following severe flooding across Nepal. The two survivors were found inside the Trishuli 3A hydropower project tunnel. Authorities moved both people to hospital after bringing them out safely.
