Pakistan, May 20 -- Two personnel of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) have been detained in Karachi over alleged links with suspected drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky, according to sources familiar with the investigation.

Sources said Assistant Sub-Inspector Kafeel and Constable Ali Qureshi, both posted in the Civil Lines area, were taken into custody after reports surfaced regarding their alleged contacts with Anmol Pinky. The detained officials are currently being interrogated as investigators attempt to determine the nature and extent of their alleged association with the accused.
