Pakistan, Aug. 10 -- President Donald Trump is reportedly preparing to use the US military against powerful Latin American drug cartels after designating several of them as terrorist organizations earlier this year. Trump has directed the Pentagon to draft operational plans targeting these groups, while The Wall Street Journal reported that special forces involvement and intelligence support are being considered in coordination with foreign partners. White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly stated that protecting the homeland remains Trump's top priority, stressing his bold move to label cartels and gangs as foreign terrorist groups.
